Why we give them away, said plainly: these tools are the same building blocks we use when we build custom automation for companies, reading a PDF, merging it, shrinking an image, pulling out a piece of data. If you need them once in a while, use them for free and that's that, we ask nothing in return. But if someone in the office redoes this work every day, by hand, dozens of times, then a tool is not what you need, it's a process to automate, and that's our trade.

No, every tool on this page works inside your browser, on your computer, the files never leave for any server and we never see them, if you want the proof open the tool you need, unplug the wifi and use it anyway, it keeps working because the work is done by the machine in front of you
There's no catch, we don't ask for your email, there's no sign-up and we set no daily file limit, these tools are the same pieces we use when we build custom automation for companies, keeping them online costs us little and they show how we work better than any presentation, and if you do have a repetitive process to automate we can talk about it, otherwise just use them
Yes, they work on phones and tablets with an up-to-date browser, you pick the files from your gallery or your documents and you download the result just like on a computer, the one difference is that a phone has less memory than a computer, so with very heavy files or a great many of them it can slow down or stop, in that case it's better to work in smaller batches
If the same job comes back every day, it isn't a tool any more
Opening a page and sorting out a couple of files now and then is perfectly fine. But if every morning someone downloads the attachments, converts them, renames them and uploads them into the business software, that's a process, and a machine can do it instead
