Data you send us yourself

When you write by email WhatsApp or form you can send your name contact details company details and information about the process you want automated

Why we use this data and on what basis

The data is used to answer your request, assess the project, prepare a proposal for you and manage any working relationship that follows. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request and our legitimate interest in replying to you (art. 6(1)(b) and (f) of EU Regulation 2016/679). We don't use your data for marketing and we don't sell it to anyone

How long we keep it

If your request doesn't turn into a working relationship, the messages and the contact details are deleted within 24 months. If you do become a client, the data tied to that relationship is kept for as long as the law requires, in particular the tax and accounting rules (usually 10 years). You can still ask for it to be deleted sooner, within the limits of those obligations

Who it can be shared with

The data may be processed by the technical suppliers needed to run the email, the hosting and the communication tools, who act as data processors on our behalf

The contact form, when you send it, reaches a server of ours, on the same machine that hosts this site, in France. It goes through no external service: the message is stored and we read it ourselves. The data does not leave the European Union and no email is sent outside

Until 27 July 2026 that form went through an American service, and the data travelled as far as the United States. That no longer happens: if you wrote to us before that date, those messages did take that route

The site calls nobody while you read it

When you open any page, your browser downloads only files that sit on muffin-suite.com. The fonts, the photos, the logo and the programs behind the tool pages are hosted here, not taken from somebody else's server

That means your IP address is not passed to any third party for the mere fact that you are reading the site. It was measured by counting the requests the pages really make: not one leaves this domain

There is one exception, and only if you choose it: the link to WhatsApp. It opens when you click it, and from that moment that service's own notice applies too

The free tools and your files

The free tools pages merge PDFs, compress and convert images and trace logos. All of this happens inside your browser, on your computer

Merging PDFs, photos into a PDF, image compression and logo tracing happen entirely in your browser: those files never leave your computer, we don't receive them, we don't see them and we don't keep them. You can check it by cutting the connection once the page has opened: they carry on working

There is one exception, the conversion of a few formats the browser cannot open on its own (HEIC, RAW, PSD, TIFF). That feature is switched off today. If one day it is switched on, files in those formats alone will be sent to a converter of ours that handles them on the fly, in memory, without saving them anywhere, and this page will be updated first to tell you. The tool page always tells you plainly whether a file stays on your computer or gets sent

No profiling, no advertising

The site uses no analytics, no advertising, no heatmaps, no tracking pixels and no visitor recognition. There is no profile, no automated decision and no list of people behind these pages

Your rights

By writing to info@muffin-suite.com you can ask at any time to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a readable format so you can take it elsewhere (portability). If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you also have the right to turn to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), as well as to us

WhatsApp

If you choose WhatsApp to write to us, the data is also handled under the rules of the WhatsApp service, which has a notice of its own
