One cookie only, and it's there for the language
The site reads in Italian and in English. When you press IT or EN at the top of the page, the site writes a cookie called lingua, which holds a single word, it or en, and lasts a year
It's there to remember your choice, so that on your next visit you don't land in the language you didn't want. It holds nothing about you, it doesn't identify you, it goes to nobody else, and if you never touch that button it never gets written: whoever makes no choice carries no cookie at all
It's a technical cookie, the kind the law asks no permission for, because it does exactly the thing you asked for by pressing the button. You delete it by clearing the site data in your browser: after that the site goes back to reading the language your browser is set to
The other thing the site stores
When you press "Got it" on the notice at the bottom of the page, the site writes one line into your browser's local storage, called muffin_cookie_note, holding the word seen
It's only there so that notice doesn't come back every time. It isn't a cookie, it is sent to no server, it stays on your device, and you delete it by clearing the site data in your browser. Until you press that button, the site stores nothing
Advertising cookies and analytics
There are none. No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no heatmaps, no advertising. We don't know how many people visit the site, and that's a price we accept

External services
While you read the site your browser contacts no domain other than muffin-suite.com: the fonts, the photos and the programs behind the tool pages are hosted here, not taken from somewhere else
The links to WhatsApp and to your mail program open only when you choose to use them, and from that moment the notice of those services applies
The contact form calls no external service: when you send it, it reaches a server of ours, and where that data ends up is written out in full in the privacy notice, which is the reference for everything to do with data
Why there's no banner with "Accept all"
Those banners exist to ask permission for the cookies that follow people around. There are none here: the only cookie is the language one, it's technical, and there's nothing to accept. The notice at the bottom is only a notice: we tell you, you press "Got it", and that's the end of it
Future changes
If one day analytics tools, maps, embedded videos or other external services get added, this page will have to be rewritten and a real cookie choice system will be needed. That's the reason there isn't one today
