The questions, with the answers

Short and direct. If yours isn't here, write to me: I answer myself

Before you start

No. It starts from the way you work now: you tell it how many people you need, and it builds on that
Right away. You enter your people, you say how many you need each day, and it builds the first week for you
Yes. If anything it counts for more with four: one absence and the week falls apart
Yes. Every venue has its own employees, its own shifts and its own settings, and it doesn't see the others

The shifts

Yes. As soon as you publish the week, everyone gets their own shifts by email. Nobody has to download an app
Yes. It splits them by the hours each person worked. That way you don't work them out by hand, and nobody argues
First it takes out whoever can't be there: anyone on holiday, anyone who wouldn't get their rest, anyone doing another job. Then, among the rest, it picks whoever still has hours to work. That way overtime stays the last choice
You change it by hand. From that moment it stays put: the times after that, it doesn't touch it. Then you press "Rebalance" and it covers the gaps that are left
It leaves the slot uncovered and tells you why, instead of forcing it. If there aren't enough people that's a staffing problem, not a software problem, and it says so
Yes. Holidays, sick days and leave block the shift. And between one shift and the next it keeps the minimum rest, 11 hours as standard
Yes. It never goes over the cap of 48 hours a week, for any reason
You do. Three things have to come together: overtime allowed in the company, allowed for that person, and within their weekly limit

The clock-ins

No. A tablet is enough, or an old phone hung up in a corner, showing the QR code. Whoever clocks in uses the camera on their own phone
It gets them nowhere: the QR code changes every 30 seconds, so a photo sent to a colleague has already expired
It makes no difference. The time that counts is always the server's, never the phone's
Yes. And the correction stays written in the log, so every change has a history

Contracts, costs and data

The values start from the Italian hospitality agreement (CCNL pubblici esercizi). They are indicative: you change them in the settings and you check them with your payroll consultant
No. It works out hours and costs only to build the shifts. The payslips stay with your consultant
Yes. Clock-ins and statistics in Excel, with first name, last name, regular hours, holiday hours and type of contract
In the software. Every venue sees only its own, and nobody else sees yours
Two months free, then 37 € + VAT a month. Always the same, whether you have four people or twenty
Antonio, the one who wrote the software. On WhatsApp when it's urgent, and with a ticket inside the software for everything else, so it stays in writing
